Air India flight suffers bird-hit while flying to Pune, Hindustan Times reports
Hindustan Times reports that Air India was forced to cancel its scheduled flight from Pune to Delhi on Friday after the aircraft suffered a bird hit on its inbound journey from the national capital. The hit was noticed after the plane landed safely in Pune, and was being prepared for a return journey to Delhi. Air India extended its apologies to passengers affected by the disruption, calling the event “unforeseen” and emphasized that “the safety of our passengers and crew remains our top priority". PM Modi flags off first made-in-India locomotive to be exported from Bihar factory, Indian Express
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Siwan on Friday in his fourth visit to poll-bound Bihar this year, Indian Express reports. There, he flagged off the first made-in-India diesel locomotive to be exported from the Marhaura railway factory. The locomotive will be exported to the West African nation of Guinea. BBC: UK and EU to hold talks with Iran as Trump sets two-week window over Middle East conflict
UK, French and German foreign ministers will hold talks with their Iranian counterpart in Geneva today, BBC reports, as part of efforts to ease the Israel-Iran conflict. It comes after the White House said US Presideny Donald Trump will decide in the next two weeks whether the US will join Israeli strikes on Iran. The exchange of fire between Israel and Iran has continued, with the Israeli military saying it attacked dozens of targets, including what it called missile manufacturing sites in Tehran. India Today reports according to multiple user reports on social media platforms such as X, the outage began on Thursday, disrupting operations across Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) on both Thursday and Friday. The technical glitch has rendered both the website and mobile app non-functional, leaving thousands of applicants stranded and confused. India Today Tech reached out to the Passport Seva customer support helpline regarding the ongoing issue. Al Jazeera reports, Israeli attacks kill at least 92 people including aid seekers in Gaza
At least 92 people have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip as desperate Palestinians continue to seek food amid an ongoing hunger crisis, Al Jazeera reports. Among those killed since dawn on Thursday, 64 were in Gaza City and the north and 16 others were waiting for aid assistance near the Netzarim Corridor, which splits north and south Gaza. Starving Palestinians have gathered in the area daily to receive packages from the United States- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which the United Nations has condemned for its “weaponisation” of aid, the report says.
