Indie Journal is a news organisation, with staunch belief in principles, ethics and structures of journalistic integrity. We are a group of journalists who are passionate about their faith in the importance and value of journalism. Journalism has a very specific purpose, which is to deliver a forum of feedback and redressal to those who are wronged or left behind. The purpose of journalism, is thus, to give voice to the voiceless, not amplify the voices who already have enough to say. Indie Journal, is our attempt to bring true balance to journalism, by standing for the values and issues that are the very core of true democracy.
