8 locations simultaneously raided as Red Fort blast probe takes NIA investigators to Kashmir: Indian Express
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting simultaneous raids in the Kashmir Valley as part of its investigation into the Red Fort explosion last month, Indian Express reports. The central agency has confirmed that it has raided eight locations and conducted searches in a case registered in New Delhi. As per Indian Express, sources said that early Monday morning, NIA investigators conducted simultaneous searches across different parts of South Kashmir. Read the full report here.

Two powerful storms – Cyclone ‘Senyar’ and ‘Ditwah’ – have carved a trail of devastation across the Indian Ocean region, leaving more than 1,000 people dead and tens of thousands displaced, hitting Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka the most and also led to fatalities in India's southern coast. Hindustan Times reports that it was a deep depression over the Strait of Malacca first that turned into Cyclone Senyar last week and now stands dissipated over the South China Sea. Immediately after Senyar weakened, another cyclonic storm - Cyclone Ditwah - brewed over southwest Bay of Bengal, heading towards Sri Lanka and India, the report adds. Read the full report here.
Early Honduras election results show Trump-backed man ahead, BBC reports
Early polling results from the Honduras general election show Nasry Asfura, leader of the right-wing National Party, has a very narrow lead. BBC reports that in their first update on the vote, the electoral council said that the conservative candidate was just ahead of former TV host and vice president Salvador Nasralla, with a little over a third of the ballots counted. Asfura has been backed by US President Donald Trump, who has threatened to cut financial aid to the Central American nation if his preferred candidate does not win, the report says. Assam Government to hold talks with protesters over scheduled tribe report, NDTV reports
NDTV reports that Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday night said his government is willing to invite those who are protesting against the report on granting Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to six communities to discuss the GoM report recommending tribal status for six communities. Since Saturday, protests continued against the report, when recommendations of the Group of Ministers (GoM) on the demand for ST status by Tai-Ahom, Chutia, Moran, Motok, Koch-Rajbongshi and Tea Tribes (adivasis) communities were laid in the state assembly, the report says. Israelis protest in Tel Aviv after Netanyahu seeks pardon on fraud cases: Al Jazeera

Angry crowds of Israelis have rallied outside President Isaac Herzog’s home in Tel Aviv, Al Jazeera reports, protesting against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s petition for a full pardon from corruption charges. The protest on Sunday night came hours after Netanyahu, 76, sought the presidential pardon in his long-running corruption trial, without admitting guilt or expressing remorse. The report adds that opposition lawmakers, including Naama Lazimi, joined dozens of activists at the protest – held under the slogan “Pardon = Banana Republic” – outside Herzog’s private home, demanding he reject the request.
